As a citadel of learning, our mandate is in tandem with the genuine will of the Ogun State Government: to give its teeming youth the best education that would make them effective and efficient citizen of the state in particular and Nigeria in general. This mandate, as encapsulated in our vision, mission, and objectives, are very clear and we intend to remain focused in its pursuit.

The Gateway Polytechnic Saapade occupies about 63 hectares of land at Saapade, in the Remo zone of Ogun State, Nigeria . The land area which is known as Saapade, derives its name from four Remo communities: Isaara, Akaka, Ipara and Ode-Remo. The land was jointly ceded by these four (4) communities to the Ogun State Government, for the siting of the Polytechnic as a positive response and support to the Government in order to satisfy the yearning of the Remo people for a higher institution in their geographical zone.

The location of the Gateway Polytechnic at Saapade is very strategic. Saapade is just 50 kilometers from Lagos , the commercial capital of Nigeria , and about 50 kilometers on the way to Ibadan , the capital of Oyo State and of the old Western Region. It therefore suffices to say that the Polytechnic stands to benefit a lot from this advantage of its unique location.

I therefore, make a clarion call to all and sundry to explore all the possibilities that Gateway Polytechnic Saapade has to offer. With its green vegetation, good climate and serene environment, there is no doubt that Students would have a good time while studying at the institution.

Is one of the ICT based Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria. Gateway Polytechnic Saapade is an official CISCO Networking Academy being one of the 26 CISCO Academies in Nigeria.

There is the need for middle level technology manpower which this Polytechnic strives to provide. We operate diversified curricular which complements ICT skills to make students a total person.
